We know that once you have placed an order with us, you want to receive it as quickly as possible, so we use the best delivery companies in North America. When shipping your order, we will use one of three different shipping methods: Ground Shipping, Back of Truck, or White Glove shipping services. For certain items, more than one service may be available for you to choose from. Please note that there may be price differences if you choose to upgrade a shipping service.
Different items you purchase may be shipped from different locations. Your items may arrive on different days and with different shipping methods if you purchase items from multiple brands or if you place more than one order at once.

Smaller products will be shipped with regular ground shipping (generally USPS, FedEx, UPS or DHL). The average transit time is between 1-7 business days (not including pre-ship time) for any destination in the contiguous United States. Delivery times will depend on the local delivery schedule of the carrier, and it may not be possible to make an appointment. Generally, ground delivery is available Monday to Saturday 9am to 8pm. A signature is not typically required: if the customer is not at home to accept delivery, the product will be left if it is safe to do so. If a signature is required the product will not be left at the address. Please note that deliveries cannot be made to a PO Box.
If the shipping address is a business address, delivery will be attempted only during normal business hours Monday to Friday. The item will not be left without a signature on file.
Please note that if you purchase multiple Ground Shipping items, they may be shipped via Truck Freight instead at the discretion of the manufacturer.
For ground shipments (USPS, FedEx, UPS or DHL), delivery to a business address will be carried out during normal business hours Monday to Friday only. A signature will be requested on delivery. The carrier is not required to match the signature to the name on the package.
If the product that you are purchasing is a larger item, it will be shipped via truck freight, sometimes called ‘back of truck’. Truck freight shipments usually take between 1-7 business days in transit to arrive (excluding pre-ship time).
The shipping company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment window. In general, you must be at home to receive the order. Please note that if you are not available for a delivery appointment or the carrier cannot contact you, the order will be held for you for several days. There may be a charge for this service. After this time, the order will be returned to the manufacturer for credit under our Return Policy.
After the product is delivered to the shipping address, it is the customer’s responsibility to unload it from the back of the truck. If the item is very heavy please ensure that you have assistance to remove it from the delivery truck. For an additional fee, the carrier can use a liftgate to remove the items from the truck for you. Inside delivery across the threshold of your home may also be available at an extra charge. Some truck freight companies can provide assembly of the items for an additional fee. Please contact us before placing your order for more information on this service. Please note that deliveries cannot be made to a PO Box.

STL Beds has teamed up with local businesses in your area to provide a new delivery and assembly service option for additional cost. Bedroom furniture and mattress orders will be delivered, assembled, and placed in the room of your choice in a single visit*. In addition, the items will all be inspected for surface damage and the packaging will be removed. STL Beds especially recommends this service for people who are unable to assemble or carry large heavy items such as furniture or mattress sets associated with accepting our traditional “Truck Freight” curbside delivery. This service may not be available in all areas. Please contact us to be sure this service is available to your local area.
*Please note that the carrier is not responsible for connecting electrical components that may be placed on or inside the item. If your order will need to be carried up more than 25 steps, or you require longer assembly or setup time please contact us. These services are often available but there will be additional charges.Each product on our websites has a pre-ship processing time, which is the number of business days it will take for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment from the warehouse or distribution center. Because our products are from manufacturers from all over North America, the pre-ship processing time will vary according to the individual manufacturer’s policies and general practices. For example, some warehouses will stock items that can be shipped within 24 hours, while other distribution centers might require 1 to 2 weeks. To give you an idea of when it will leave the warehouse, check the “Pre-Ship Processing Time” listed on the product information screen of the item you ordered.
Actual delivery of your order will then take the following additional amount of time to arrive depending on how your package is being shipped.
For small parcel shipments: Depending on where you live in relation to the shipping warehouse, after the product leaves the warehouse or distribution center, you will receive your item between 1 and 6 business for couriers and 1 to 10 business days for USPS.
If you requested any expedited services like 3-day, 2nd Day or Next Day Air, please note that this will not affect the pre-ship processing time in any way; it will still take the manufacturer the specified number of days to process and prepare your order before it leaves the warehouse. For truck freight and truck freight – additional services shipments: After your order has been shipped, the item will be delivered in 3 to 10 days. If the item is being delivered to a residential address, an appointment for a delivery time will be made upon the arrival of your order at the local terminal. For deliveries to a commercial address, no appointment will be made. However, if you anticipate that there will be no one to accept the delivery on delivery day, you can call STL Beds to arrange an appointment.
For white glove freight shipments: Since extra steps are taken to ensure that your order is delivered in tiptop condition, delivery will take from 1 to 4 weeks, not including the pre-ship processing time it takes for it to leave the warehouse or distribution center. Even though your order is handled as carefully as possible throughout transit, we still require that each white glove order is inspected at the delivery agent before it is delivered to your door. You will be contacted by a delivery clerk to arrange a delivery time. Allow for a 2- to 5-hour block of time, Monday through Friday regular business hours; Saturday deliveries are made by special arrangement and are not always possible.We want to offer you the lowest price possible. When you have entered your items for purchase into the cart you can Estimate Shipping and Tax. If the amount calculated for you comes back at $0.00 then shipping is free. If you have entered your items for purchase into the cart to Estimate Shipping and Tax and it calculates a fee it will post the amount. The price listed on the product information screen of the item you ordered is the price you will pay. There will be no surprises—we want to make shopping online at STL Beds as easy and convenient for you as possible.
Currently we only ship orders to destinations in the continental United States. We are not able to ship products to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico.
