How to install a Princess Pedestal under a waterbed
These are general instructions for setting up a princess pedestal underneath a hardside waterbed. Contact STL Beds for specific instructions about installing drawers under your current waterbed. Place each half of the pedestal on the correct side if you have a left and right cabinet. You will know you have a left and right cabinet if only one end is finished. The finished end goes to the foot end of the bed. Spacers to bridge the two halves of the princess pedestal should be installed. Double check to make sure that the drawer pedestal is positioned squarely off nearest walls and will be centered underneath of the waterbed cavity. The door kit will either slide into a fitted groove at the foot end of the drawer pedestal or will screw on with small wood screws. Lastly, lean the assembled sandbox onto the drawer pedestal carefully making sure not to push the princess pedestal out of its original position. Double check for squareness and equal overhang on sides. Make sure all center bridging is secure and in place through cubby door and then fill.
