• Individually Cased Coils: We start with Steel coils that are tempered and pre compressed to provide lasting support within our best quality premium mattresses. Our independent coils are designed to adjust and contour to your unique body shape and weight. Surrounding the Individually Cased Coils is a high-density foam perimeter encasement. This is an extra firm surfaced mattress and has a solid firm feel. This model fits within our top of the line level of mattresses using our best core support. Englanders heavier-duty Individually Cased Coils are designed to individually fill in the unsupported gaps under your body better than any other competing helical connected coil system on the market today. Heavy gauge steel is used in the building of the coil unit, which provides added dependability to the mattresses design. Coil counts vary depending on size of mattress.
• Foam Encased: Is a High-density heavy-duty foam perimeter edge that surrounds the coil springs in the mattress. Benefits include more supportive and firmer edge for sitting and makes the simple things like putting your shoes on a little easier. You will love the increase in the useable sleeping surface, and how it makes those transitions of entering and exiting the bed easier.
• Polyurethane Foam: A generous amount of polyurethane foam makes this our firmest sleeping surface that we offer and works in conjunction with our best coil support system: Individually Cased Coils.
• Quilted Ticking: You will notice a tightly quilted pattern on the beds sleeping surface that incorporates support foam to enhance our firmest level of support. There is not a lot of give in this mattress but has a very popular feel This model should be compared with other Tension Ease models, all you have to choose the perfect surface feel.
• 16 CFR Part 1633 Compliant: The mandatory mattress rule requires mattresses manufactured on or after July 1, 2007 to operate in accordance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC) new flammability standard. This new standard is designed to reduce the severity of mattress fires that are ignited by an open flame from sources like candles, matches, and lighters presenting to consumers the safest mattresses ever offered.
• Box Spring / Foundation: We offer you a choice of Box Spring, Low Profile Box Spring, or Heavy Duty wood foundation. All of our bases are hand made in our plant and assemble using Canadian Spruce. Canadian Spruce is significant wood used commercially for pulpwood & construction lumber. Often it is used in specialty items such as boat paddles & oars, boxes, and cabinets.
