4” of premium OMALON^® foam makes up the base of the Westminster latex bed. This core support solid base foam is something not found in so called comparable models.

ER Carpenter’s Omalon^® foam is very different from conventional foams. The toughness of Omalon^® foam is a result of it’s one of its kind elliptical shape cell structure which uses a special densification process that was patented by ER Carpenter. Initially it will have a soft feel, but the way that the foam has been broken in, the cell configuration will not bottom or wear excessively like other foam during its life span.

Symbols heavy-duty foundation. The construction design gives this foundation a nice tailored look and helps the mattress comply with the new FR regulations. Typically the tape edge you would find on a box spring foundation would trim out the top corner of the foundation. By simply eliminating the tape edge and recessing the assembly seam it reduces a flame’s ability to quickly penetrate the weaker points of a boxspring and slows flame progression, this is called the waterfall affect.
