Our Heavy Duty Steel Box Spring
Our durable Campbell box spring foundation is put together with hardened steel springs that are tempered & semi-flexible. A very strong checkerboard steel grid supports the mattress for solid weight distribution. We gently pad the surface with 1rst cut cotton batting to reduce and help safeguard the underside side of your 2-sided mattress from abrasion. When building a house you start with a strong footing and foundation. It is no different with a mattress set. 2 pieces of 1-Ό inch thick Poplar, which is a hardwood, are coupled together to add to this box springs total strength. A rock-solid 2-1/2 inches of thickness is the base make up and spanning the width are 11/2-inch wood slats. Campbell Mattress builds their wood and steel box springs for some of the most famous hotels in the hotel industry.
